Once again this was a starter figure set for Tamiya back in the 1970s where this was the height of figure poses and spare parts for various locations such as the D.A.K. as shown here. This and other set of the type were again resulting in the figures being too large for the scale but a result of technology in the casting. In-spite of the lack of crispness and more flash than on later kits this one found it's way into several dioramas of mine as I started to collect the sets by the half dozen or so. When placed with vehicles the figures blend right in considering the scale was a bit off. With all things considered they were the top of the line for the day and can certainly be used along side any models that are up to date. I would recommend this set for starting out and even use it in a modern setting.
