Another nice offering from Trumpeter. It too suffers from the problems of the other earlier 1/32 Mig offering from Trumpeter,Lack of cockpit detail.Which is easeily remeded with the addition of the Eduard Mig 17 photo etch detail set. This kit like the others offers a nicely detailed engine and dolly to display the engine should one so choose.Surface detail is nice offering recessed panel and rivet details. The decal sheet is of good quality but again only offers markings for a Chinese aircraft. Therefore if any other aircraft is to be modeled you will have to purchase an aftermarket sheet.I believe these were the first 1/32 scale offerings from Trumpeter. So lacking some of the refinements of the later 1/32 scale offerings, this kit can be built into a very nice looking model. I would recommend this kit,Especially for the price.
