The seams on this model have spill over plastic that needs to be trimmed. The model walls seem thinner and flimsier than Revell or other brands. The plastic is more translucent and less stiff than most models. I didn't like this kit - as you can tell. There were simple things that caused problems like guns that were supposed to mount on top of a seam between 2 parts, that just seemed awkward. One nice thing with this kit was that it had a sinking ship that I hadn't expected to get. The actual detail on the parts was very fine, but didn't make up for the other problems. I'll be watching for and avoiding this manufacturer.

The two subs are small but easy to build. There are few parts and they go toghter well.There not much to them but for the first timer a good model to start. The inst sheet is good it came in english and japanese there is no color chart and no decals. But for a first model it is good. For more better looking model go up a scale.
