It Brought Back Memories
In 1959, my Dad and I built this knight. Let me rephrase that; my Dad built the knight and I watched. I was five years old at the time. It was basically built stock, out of the box, other than my Mom doing a fantastic job of painting the head.
The knight went with us, carefully packed, when we moved from Canoga Park, California to Sam the Eggo(San Diego) as my younger sister called it. In the days the followed, our stuff arrived in a moving van and the Silver Knight took a place of honor in my bedroom window. I don't remember when he finally disappeared.
It was only when I purchased the reissue that I realized all the detail that we could of highlighted. Over the years the mold kept the same sharpness as when it was originally issued. The detail of the head is still sharp as is the designs on the armor. It brought back a lot of great memories when I built it.
I would highly recommend this kit. I would also recommend that go back and build the kits of your youth; cars, knights, dinosaurs, figures, armor. It's a great trip down memory lane.

This is an old Aurora kit from 1956, it was a fun kit, build it has no flashing, no warped parts really nice kit. hope they put all of the knight kits, as well as a lot of the other old kits, with new glue and paints, it well be fun
