nice build, no real trouble at all
Academy is a mix of good and bad. This falls more on the good side than the bad (though there are not really any other options for this plane in this scale). The instructions are clear (which is not always the case with Academy). The fit is good. I used a little bit of putty on the top side of the wing roots. But other than that there were no issues with the fit at all. The decals are great (as they seem to always be with Academy). I did buy the Eduard PE parts but I will say that the kit's cockpit parts are actually pretty good and, if you're making the canopy closed, then getting the PE is really not worth it. Its not a hard build and the parts count is low. So its a good palette cleanser if you need one.
