Not Nearly As Bad As I had Expected
I picked this one purely for the lower sale price at the time...a good bit cheaper than the Tamiya kit. I had watched a video review about it online and they did not speak well of it. Maybe the reviewer had a bad copy, or perhaps the kit had some fixes implemented in a later run. This kit goes together fairly well. There are some minor problems, but nothing some test fitting can help address. I actually don't care for AFV Club kits. To me, they needlessly over-engineer some of their kits, parts attachment points on sprues are often badly placed, and the instructions are a bit vague. It still has some of these AFV Club problems but the kit isn't as bad as others I have slugged through.
I give it a Good because it's not something I'd recommend to a novice, new to the hobby. At the normal, non-sale price, I'd probably go with the Tamiya kit just for the ease and stress-free build.
