Reviews : AK Xtreme Metal Chrome Metallic Paint

I have tried multiple chrome oversprays and this one comes in near the end. It doesnt have a very good mirror finish to it, its more silver than anything. If youre looking for a shiny mirror finish I'd look elsewhere. I would buy it again if i was desperate because it is relatively cheap vs some of the others ive used but in this case youre getting what you pay for.

Gives your model kit a great chrome finish on any parts you airbrush/paint it on. Just remember to use a primer coat on the model parts 1st before you use this paint. For some reason it could make the plastic brittle, if you don't use a primer underneath the chrome paint. Great for simulating shocks and struts on any vehicles and chrome parts.

I think airbrushing is a skill I need to improve on. As a result, I think there are likely many paints that are great, that I find challenging to use. The AK Xtreme Metal is easy, even for me. I love the results I get, even with my skill level. I can't say good enough things about it.

Was nervous about trying this. First go around, i failed, as I forgot to use it over a gloss base. Second try, I remembered the gloss base and it adds a lot of depth to the build. It isn't the shiny chrome that looks plastic, but it's a very sharp looking chrome.

You will always get not so great results if you do not follow instructions… Please ensure you use the black primer they sell with this line to get best results with this color… If you don’t you will get low results on the chrome….

Came completely separated will not mix together. I cannot use this product will never order it again. Be weary

Fools BRUSH ON where ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD. This stuff does not brush on out of the bottle. Much TOO THIN

AK interactive xtreme mettalics are the best out of the bottle metal paints out there.
