DEFINITION Rigging: The system of ropes, chains, & tackle used to support & control the masts, sails, & yards of a sailing vessel. The manufacturer of this thread recommends it's use with 1/48th & 1/72nd scales the two primary scales found in aircraft models. This thread is the largest of 3 sizes & is 10 times smaller in diameter than the smallest thread called for on a 1/200th scale model sail ship @ 0.3mm. It is extremely small too small. The diameter is exactly as described but the definition is misleading. This is not meant or called for on model ships. If applied for use in aircraft it does not fit the definition of RIGGING which specific to SAILING SHIPS
