Many ill fitting parts.
I got this as a Christmas present after I asked for it from Santa (heh). It's a stout rocket and I think it will fly great. But, not without its difficulties during the build. The fin loc rings that hold the fins to the motor mount didn't fit the motor mount tube. I ended up removing all the white paper from the motor mount tube plus additional sanding to get the fin loc rings to finally fit the motor tube. The 2 paper rings that go around the body tube also required a fair amount of sanding and, eventually, the aft ring had to be cut in order to be installed. I placed the cut slit where a fin would cover it so it doesn't show but still that should not have had to be cut. This was my first Aerotech build and I hope the difficulties are a one time thing. I really like the rocket overall, especially the cooling mesh/baffle setup so I want to try another Aerotech rocket. It also has a neat military feel to it.

Best Rocket kits Ever! Great quality. A mid-power rocket acts and sounds like a high-power rocket. It is a reusable cost for each flight and the overall cost of ownership. I recommend all Aero-Teck rocket kits for this reason. I wish they made more model options. I would like to see a military rock series. Be advised. These rockets fly high and fast. I have launched three and was not able to recover due to the launch location, and it was a certified NAR launch site. But I do use top power. Go big or go home, and I went home with one less rocket each time. lol, have fun... building them is just as enjoyable.
My first mid-power rocket!

I am writing this review because I find reviews helpful in making my decisions. I bought this rocket, took it out of the package and fell in love! I always built low-power rockets by Quest and Estes this one truly is different it comes with literally everything! I haven't seen anything like this rocket, it comes with the cooling system which has one small problem it's mesh coil wears after 11-15 launches. but it is a help. I tend to forget wadding. All around the best rocket I have ever built!!!
