An Easy Inexpensive Way To End The Line
When you come to the end of the line, there is no easier or less expensive way to stop your cars. This style bumper is only for post 70's layouts as the Hays bumper pre-dates it. Many model railroaders insert a red light through the hole in the rear, attaching one lead to each rail. That way, when the turnout switch is thrown, the points now send power to the siding or spur lighting the light. If your DC layout spur is isolated and has its own power, this light will tell you whether the light be on or off.
