A DIFFERENT ANIMAL
I have used flextrack & straight sections exclusively to go with all the dedicated pieces such as turnouts. You have much more control with curves & fewer pieces but you have to complete the fabrication of each section as you progress adding end ties & cutting rails. There is little conversation on the HOW TO & you're flying by the SEAT OF YOUR PANTS. Testing track can be difficult for the fact the all the track must be temporarily fastened to keep everything in place & every piece is a custom fit for reassembly. GOOD LUCK WITH IT
