Another Great Little Kit
The only issue I had with the kit was that the roofing shingles weren't long enough to cover the entire roof. It would have taken some VERY creative cutting and pasting to make the sheet supplied fit the entire roof. I don't know if this was a mistake in packaging the kit or by design. I replaced it with home-made paper shingles. Not a big problem. Other than that, it is a great kit, easy to assemble and makes for a very professional looking finished kit with very little effort.
Bar Mills
This was my first Bar Mills kit. I like the railroad tie foundation. The basswood is easy to work with and detail. Disappointed in the adhesive paper roofing. I liked the detailed double timber doors and the ramp and dock. Nice detail. The metal castings are a nice addition. They looked good after painting. Internal bracing is necessary. The kit provides this but I would recommend a thicker guage of balsa. Paper signage looks good.
Simple Laser Cut Kit
Simple kit with some nice unpainted details such as a scale, sacks on hand truck and sacks. Includes plastic windows and entry door acetate for glass and roofing material. Will be adding a floor (not included) and leaving the shipping door open for some interior detail.
