At nearly $30 per fixture, I had a feeling these would be nice and high quality, and they are! BTW, Hobbylinc had the lowest price for these as they often do w/most items. I like how the glass of the lamp is frosted, this gives off a nice realistic glow that evenly disperses the light. I really, really like how the lamp is detachable from its base (see my photos). This means, if you need to, say clean your track, and this lamp is near your track and would get in the way, you can just pull the lamp off your layout with out any wiring mess. Totally cool. While expensive, this is worth it and hobbylinc is a great place to buy from! TY Hobbylinc
