This review is of the Bandai Millennium Falcon 1/72—Perfect Grade version. Bandai also offers other 1/72 versions.
Bandai's Star Wars collection is beyond beautiful. Well detailed and sturdy, from a tremendous amount of work creating these kits. Parts fit are easy and not frustrating. Build instructions are a work of art, with multiple YouTube modelers showing their weathering and other techniques to learn from.
This Bandai Perfect Grade edition contains more parts, including photo-etch, decals, and other items. The other 1/72 Millennium Falcon kits from Bandai are the same basic model.
Although the price of this massive kit is a bit of a con, the price continues to move toward being more affordable (well over $500 down to the upper $300s). Bandai has multiple smaller versions offering the same quality at an affordable price.
Be wary of copycat models that will take the original sprues and make cheaper, lower-quality versions. A true Bandai kit will always be at the forefront of quality.
Let's hope that Bandai continues bringing more and more to other model subjects.
