Decent kit for a decent price these kits go together fairly easy so it does not take much to assemble them and they can make a neat looking town scene on your layout with some paint. I used the craft store paint they have a ton of colors and you can match them to the picture or change it up. I would use a primer first to cover the plastic so the paint goes on better otherwise you will be painting a few coats of paint. This kit is a little tricky due to the bay window that is on the top, make sure you follow directions and take your time. Once it is finished it will look great.

This is a good plastic model. It does take a steady hand and a sharp paint brush to really make it look great. The turret is a great architectural touch, but it is more difficult than a simple building. Not recommended for your first model, but it is okay for your 3rd or 4th model. If you plan to light the building (or ANY plastic building), I suggest you paint the inside FIRST to reduce light through the walls and keep the paint off the finished exterior. This model does not include a base.

Very nice kit and very detailed. Easy to follow instructions. After assembling, I realized that it would have been better to have primed and painted each of the walls before putting it together. This would make applying the windows easier and prevent getting paint on the clear plastic. Careful painting is the key any of these kits and I take my time. Will make a great small town police station on the first floor and town offices on the second floor.

Five star except for small casting error. The model requires painting inside and out and the assembly of the corner turret would be difficult if you used their instructions, better to construct the building and assemble the turret on the building. If you use turpentine as your plastic cement you can slowly adjust the alignment as the parts fuse.

Nicely detailed model. With the turret, it makes assembly a little more complicated than just 4 walls. Final quality is going to depend on the builders skill with a paint brush. It is N-Scale. I recommend 2x magnification glasses or higher, and a very fine brush for painting. Fess
