A must have for the Tamiya King Tiger
Bought this to dress up the old Tamiya King Tiger and it was well worth it. There are lots of small detail parts and an optivisor is recommended as is a photo etch folding tool. The hardest pieces to build are the tool clamps which are two pieces and very very tiny. Fortunately Eduard offers a one piece clamp part which does the job just as well and is easier to attach. You will have to do some sanding down of the Tamiya parts but thats no biggie. And you will need a length of .5mm wire if you wish to attach the engine deck armor plating on the back.
The difference b/w this detail set and the kit parts is night and day and any advanced modeler will appreciate the extra details offered.
