Estes Tube Marking Guide
Price reduced and was time to buy! This piece allows me to use at the workspace and is great for most common tube sizes instead of pulling out the angle iron pieces or door jambs used to draw the body tube lines. Should have bought one of these a long time ago. It just saves time and simplifies the process. Thx Hobbylinc !
Good idea - Poor craftsmanship
The piece I received varied by almost 1/16 from one end to the other. On a short tube, you don't notice. But it is very aggravating when you can't seem to understand why the fin isn't
near perfect after using. Started using aluminum angle stock from hardware store and it works sooo much better.
Indispensable tool for kit or scratch builder
A simple but elegant tool that lets you easily draw fin, launch lug and other guide lines on all sizes of Estes body tubes from BT-5 to BT-70 much more easily and smoothly than finding a door jamb to use as a guide (as we did back in the old days....).
Good but Basic
Works as expected, not anymore, not any less. Doesn't help greatly, but for inexperienced is a great tool.
