Reviews : Estes Model Rocket Altimeter

Although this altimeter is easy to use, the attachment bracket at the end of the casing is very fragile. I have owned two of these. The bracket on the first one broke off on the fifth flight causing the altimeter to be lost. The bracket on the second one broke off the first time I used it. Not worth the low price.

This altimeter works great, especially for the price. I use it on my Aerotech rockets and have had no issues with it. Make sure to read the directions and drill holes in the rocket so the altimeter can read the atmospheric pressure.

I received it with good condition. I used it experimentally at once. The manual was not written in Japanese, but the altimeter was usable easily. Note: The L1016 battery to use is difficult to purchase in Japan. Thank you.

Used this once great product. Mine fell 30 feet onto concrete and it still works!

We lost ours on the second flight up in a tree. I know ordered two more.
