I've ordered several of these Estes BT-80 (2) packs, in the past and they are good quality for the price. Great for upscaling several rockets, including the Estes Baby Bertha and the Estes Mini Fat Boy. I resurrected the discontinued Fat Boy, but up powered it to 29mm. It should see around 1/4 mile in altitude and good enough for Cert.1 The same can be said about my upscaled Baby Bertha, to a Bigger Baby Bertha. As for motor mounting, these BT-80's will house 1,or2X29mm motors, 1,2,3,or4x24mm motors, 7,or8X18mm motors, or 1x24mm+6,or7X18mm motors. Any more than 2X29mm motor power with these body tubes will require reinforcement. They can also be used for ducted tube fins.

Estes tubes, light weight, straight and good build quality. Everything you could ask for in a low power rocket tube. Perfect for use as a main body tube and makes for an impressive sized rocket when you couple 2 or 3 together. The BT-80 tube will fit 3 D engines clustered together for a very exciting rocket launch. Shiny coating makes for a decent paint finish but doesn't inhibit glue adhesion. All around great tube.

This is going to work great for the refurb of a Mega Mosquito rocket. I received what was left of one, the fin assembly, and it needed a good length (6) of the BT-80. I've started installing it and it fit just right to the existing bit of rocket.

When I saw that I could use the D&E engine mount with these tubes, the idea for making a variant of the mean machine rocket was born...
