Excellent small field bird
I have a collection of kits that I buy on occasion to fill a spot when I have the urge to build, but no specific project in mind. At some point I bought two Estes Indicators to put in this collection, so there must have been something there that appealed to me. Twice. I remember being surprised at the small size of this rocket when the first one arrived, something that would have been apparent had I bothered even a cursory glance at the specifications. The build was quick and fairly straightforward, with only the two piece fins straying outside of the skill level 1 rating, and that not by much. Mini engine power and small size means respectable flights on a 1/2A and impressive flights on the full A.
