Reviews : Excel Steel Drill Bit Set in Flat Plastic Case #61-80 (20pc)

I got this set not as a replacement but for the office on off-times when I can work on models. I have the metal set as pictured. This is not that. It comes in a cheap plastic case with a cheap plastic holder. The holder for the drills is hard to get out of the plastic case. I have not tried the drills yet for sharpness, but since they are Excell, they should be good. I was fooled by the picture thinking I would be getting the metal case. I did not stop to read the description closely. I should have.

This is one of first times I've had mini-bits BEND in usage.. Not only did several bend, but none are very sharp, they work-BARELY with alot of unecessary effort, I only used them in a pin vice with styrene plastic, I wouldn't attempt to use these with a dremel with ANY kind of metal...

I've bought drill bits like these, before,that were very good. These, however, were terrible. Drilling holes in plastic was practically impossible. Also, the container was plastic, not metal. Maybe I just got a lemon. But, I'm not buying it, again.

I bought this set in May 2025. Very disappointed in the poor quality. I COULD NOT drill a hole in styrene with ANY of the bits in this set. Don't waste your money on this worthless product.

The larger rack may be ok. But the smaller bits are poor quality. One is completely bent over and some others are not finished in sharping process properly. Waste of money.

Drill bits are exactly as described and are what I wanted. Securely packaged, yet still easy to access. I will be usng them on my armor and aircraft builds.

Excellent product, steel box and drill sizes stamped in the drill holders. The box is hard to open.

the product is as expected, does what it's supposed to do.
