This kit is a charming attention grabber!
While most 'at home' in European setups, this clock tower could also work in older American towns, particularly those in the Eastern US. I finished mine as a 'ticket booth' for local attractions, including a movie theater. The windows worked great for some miniature movie posters I cut from an old 1990s DVD ordering club flyer. The remaining 'open' window hosts a rather bored ticket girl! Lighting can be added without too much fuss. I illuminated both the interior and the clock face with LEDs, then added fiber optic strands to create 'light bulbs' around the roof peaks over the windows and doors. If you want to get really detailed, you can create a custom clock face. Putting another layer of 'machinery' behind it that will show when illuminated can really help sell the thing as real.
