GSI Creos Corporation, Mr. White Putty is a great product for plastic model builders. This product requires quick application and shaping on the part of the user due to its fast set up time. Shrinkage of product is negligible once putty has completely dried. Careful sanding on cured Putty can be done to perfect the contours of the plastic parts and hide unsightly seams or gaps.
Works Great: Sets Up Too Quick
This putty works great. Can sand and feather out easily with a 24 hour cure. Wish it didn't start setting up so quick but with a little acetone to thin it its not a problem. Can be thinned enough to be applied with a brush for small gaps or for large seams as well.
Touchy but smooth
This putty skins over very quickly so you have to work fast. Or dissolve it in lacquer thinner and paint it on for detail work. It is the smoothest putty I have worked with.
