If you are looking for a kit that requires sanding and filling and filing to get parts to fit right, this kit isn’t for you. The parts are so well done, they fit right into position like they were meant to snap together. The landing gear covers a very minimal amount of clean up to fit into position into the wheel wells. That is it. I had no other flash to clean up. The most challenging task was taping the canopy, which also fit into position perfectly. The decals are nice and thin. They are opaque and set nicely into the panel lines with a setting solution. The cast in detail is beyond comparison to any other brands of 1/72 scale aircraft I have built. These kits are so much fun to build. The one flaw, in my opinion, is no option to build with the landing gear up. That would take some filing and fitting. I have done it for these kits. It is tedious and time consuming but not difficult.

Excellent fit (with two exceptions), good detail and sharp engraved panel lines. Two exceptions to the fit though - the canopy had gaps at the front end and requires some gap filling. I used white glue. The other issue is the landing gear doors. They do not line up with the mounting pins on the landing gear struts unless you cut them down significantly. One final critical comment is the decals are a little thick. I still recommend this model kit though because overall it is a good kit that builds up well.

Not to down talk it too much I’ll point out the good points first. The molds are great very little trimming to fit pieces together. Final product looks great. It was a fun model to put together took just under 3 hours most of which was watching paint dry. The bad? The instructions on the box were small and hard to find correct placement of parts and decals. I like to have my aircraft models hanging so the lack of option to have gear up or down was a personal opinion.

I purchased three kits to create war gaming variants. The kit goes together, but needs a bit of putty. Landing gear covers needed a bit of work to sit in the wheel wells. Took about a week to get all three ready for painting. An inexpensive kit for what I'm using it for.

I was not impressed by the fit and finish. I had trouble with the landing gear in the up position, had a hard time getting the cover smooth. Over all it okay and the gear in the down position would be best. Price was good.

A great model for beginners, everything went together easily except for the landing gear, had to modify that a little bit to get a good fit. Overall I am very pleased with this model.

Great kit, parts fit well very detailed, a must build
