A-4C Sky Hawk - Great Kit!
I found this to be a great lil build. I realize that there are other manufacturers out there that offer a slightly more detailed version, however, I felt you had a little bit of freedom to experiment and either go slightly conservative or push the bounds on patina/weathering if you desire.
Instructions are very clear… as always, check-fit everything prior to glue up. Very, very, very little “micro flash”, but two seconds with an abrasive can eliminate any headaches quickly.
Worthy note: The image on the box is not exactly what’s contained within. This version provides (2) drop tanks and (6) gravity bombs vs. the single centered drop tank on the box. Personally, I was okay with that.
Decals: Decals are fantastic on this kit. I laid down a satin varnish prior to applying and they went on like butter and virtually looked like they were painted on, Some of the larger decals I did apply Mark Fit just for insurance. Definitely a word of caution… they are sensitive decals. Too much maneuvering and some may want to break apart. The result however looks great and realistic!
