excellent model
This is my second leopard tank I've built the earlier Leopard 2 made by Hobbyboss in the past . You can't go wrong with this brand . They make some really nice model tanks I've figure this A5/A6 would go great into the cold war era of model tanks or modern which ever the builder prefers . I would recommend this tank to any model tank builder . Nicely detailed parts but some parts may need some burrs grounded or sanded off for the piece to fit properly but that's Hobbyboss brand for ya So you might want to dry fit the pieces before you glue it on but other than that great model and the instructions are easy to follow and decals are good with a dull texture non shiny glare is a plus . Build one in your collection today .
Mediocre Model Make

The Model itself is not for beginners. The instruction sheet is helpful but not detailed. Therefore at some places, you have to guess and figure out yourself. In terms of material, the plastic is not as thick and solid as I would have imagined. It bents easily and very soft. Maybe some people would like that quality anyway. When glue the pieces, you may have to have some extra effort, as some pieces are very crude and may require additional trimming, otherwise, they won't stick together.
Overall, the make of the model has a lot of room for improvement. I think Tamiya would make a better model.
So far so good
This probably did not start life as a Tamiya kit. The fit and design is just not Tamiya. The treads go together with the pins, that you melt, on the OUTSIDE of the treads, where the melted part will show! Parts fit, with a little jiggling. Definitely not from the same folks who make the 300 SL model.
And there was flash (although very little.) I suspect older molds.
But I'm having fun.
Great kit
This kit was impressive. There was little to no flash on the parts, everything lined up and basically fell into place. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. Like all Hobby Boss kits, there was a small photo etch fret supplied. Highly detailed and easy to put together. A set of after market tracks can set this kit apart from the others. I would highly recommend this kit to any skill of modeler.
Bad kit
This a horrible kit. It is lacking detail much flash and made in China. The German Revell Leopard available on this website is superior in every way.
Super kit
Well produced kit. Lots of detail with cleanly made parts. Well packaged.
