Relatively Easy Assembly
This was my first HobbyBoss kit and there were no glaring issues; however, I still have some minor complaints. 1. The color of the kit during assembly isn't exactly tan as described, it was much brighter, more like a sand color and it blended in with my desk. 2. A few of the photoetch details which are hard to attach are in places that make them hard to see, notably toward the beginning of assembly, a photoetch part presumably imitating the tow-hooks on the front and back of the EBR's lower hull are hard to see because they are covered on the sides by the wheels, I feel it would've been much easier for the tow-hooks to be in plastic or even part of the lower hull so the photoetch could be used elsewhere. 3. Required to drill holes in unmarked places. To be honest I was caught off guard when it asked me to manually drill a hole into the upper hull but it wasn't an impossible thing to do; however you kind of have to guess where on the hull exactly they are supposed to be placed because it is only in the illustrated instructions and not physically marked on the kit. 4. During the attachment of subassemblies to the kit it is sometimes difficult to understand the instructions. 5. I had trouble modeling the gun elevation/depression when gluing the pieces in place because the turret would fall apart before I had glued it making it impossible to keep the gun's position fixed, but this might have been a problem of the way I was going about fixing the turret.
