HobbyBoss 1/35 Soviet BA-10 Armor Car kit #HBO83840
This is another nice armored car kit from HobbyBoss. The BA-10 cars were the successor to the BA-6 series, and more heavily produced. The kit's build example is actually the BA-10M variant, with the new cab top-mounted whip radio system. The standard BA-10 was produced both without any radio system, or with the turret radio frame system found on some of the T-26/BT-7 conical turret tanks. The kit's wheel/tire system is of plastic wheels with separate rubber tires over them. The large stowage bins over the rear mud guards were introduced to better contain the extra tread-like links available for use over the top of the rear tires in half-track style fashion, for better off-road performance, although the kit contains no actual links. Overall, the kit is of good quality and is nicely detailed, and I would recommend it to others.
