HobbyBoss 1/35 Soviet BT-2 Tank (medium) kit #HBO84515
This HobbyBoss kit produces another version of the BT-2 light tank, with option between early/late main gun mantles. The title of the kit is somewhat vague/erroneous in the medium term used, and is likely meant to convey Mid production. The turret shell differs slightly from the BT-2 Early kit, in that it has a molded feature for attaching the turret face MG to. The tread system is of the individual link type, with no option for any long rubber strip style. As with the Early and Late version kits, the engine cooling flaps area and protective screen cover are nicely detailed, including photo-etch parts. There are a few delicate parts requiring cautionary removal from their parts trees. Overall, the kit is of good quality and nicely detailed, and I would recommend it to others.
