the kit is super simple almost idiot proof except for the float plane mine broke while cutting it off the grid. the model hull is snapped together you can have a waterline model or full hull. this makes painting the bottom red real easy no tape needed for straight lines.you don't have to make tiny props and shafts either they come as 1 piece that you just attache to the lower hull easy. the top is 2 pieces of superstructure 5 guns and 1 periscope piece and 1 antenna piece. the plane comes in 4 pieces 2 floats 1 prop and the plane itself. The details on the deck and hull are very good especially for this scale. well worth the price in fact a steal.

This sub is small but the parts fit well. The hull fits well the inst are on the box and are easy to read. The paint guide is good to even the small plane was a easy bulid. the decals are for the one ship. A easy model for all.

Detail on this kit is excellent, especially for this scale. Fit of parts is precise. Well with in the average builder/painter's skill to make an very nice display from. Even the plane is nicely-precisely formed

I have never built a submarine model ship kit . It would be nice to start with this cheap one.
