Tiger striped Corsair
I've recently discovered Hobby Boss kits and find them an enjoyable build. Panel lines are a bit thick in my opinion for 1:72 scale but don't give that toy like appearance. Overall fit is good with minimal filler along the wing root and fuselage halves. The open electronics bays, external ordinances and hard point attachment pylons are nicely detailed and set Hobby Boss apart from other more expensive manufactures'. The directions manually is basic, but provides a painting guide and schematic for the placement of external ordinances. Although the front office is a bit basic, the addition of an after market seat is sufficient to detail a kit in this scale. Overall this is a good kit for the novice and detailers alike.
