Complicated looking, but actually isnt.
This kit looks super complicated, but it actually falls together with no fit issues. The decals, although not as comprehensive as other sheets I have worked with of late, was nicely printed, and there were no issues in getting them to lay down or set on irregular surfaces. It only comes with 2 options, but that wasnt an issue. The cockpit might not be the most realistic representation but builds up nicely and with detail painting, looks the part. The only gripe I had was the lack of detail on the cannon. The real KA-50 has a lot of pips and plumbing on the cannon, none of which is on the kit. I added some with various thickness wires and added break lines with fishing line - just to make it closer to the real thing. The rotor setup looked intimidating but once you look at the parts and dry fit things, it actually makes sense and goes together well.

I was skeptical at first, but this kit awesome for the price! It has zero flashing, good detail for the scale, and everything fit perfectly. Some parts are small, but what model kit doesn't have small parts? Only downside is that the rear landing gear only has one glue point, that might be a little fragile and might not be able to support the weight of the helicopter. Other than that its an awesome kit. Very pleased with it.
