Run silent, run deep
I enjoyed building this kit. It is a precision mold with excellent detail scribings that show hatches, vents, etc. It went together quite easily. My only complaint is the SEAL delivery vehicle (SDV) that it comes with is almost lacking in any detail and its small dive planes are nothing more than misshapen bumps. My OCD will eventually kick in and I will probably correct them. But the sub itself is a beautiful kit!
USS GREENVILLE
This kit had a few problems 1 st problem the hull was warped and required rubber bands to close the seams. prop is very delicate and is hard to get off the grid intact. The plus however this kit comes with a SEAL TEAM sub which is 1 piece just glue onto the hull done. the Greenville has a total of 6 parts not including options. They include the dive planes in or out and antennas up or down. decals go on easy.
Good addition to your 1:700 scale fleet
This is a great addition to your 1:700 scale ship collection. When I bought it I was a little worried about the size, but it turned out great in the end. It’s right around 6 inches long. Looks fantastic when finished. Well worth the price.
