Ju87G Tank Killer

Easily the best Ju87 in 1/32nd scale. The cockpit is well detailed for the scale and looks good out of the box. The distinctive inverted gull wing needs a little adjustment while assembling but it fits tight to the fuselage when done. The unusual ailerons and flaps are separate from the wings and they are made as well as injection molded plastic technology will allow. The fuselage fits together well and the engine cowl is molded separately so you guys that want to do maintenance dioramas or such won't have to cut it off. The Flak-18 3.7cm cannon pods are nice but those barrels are molded solid so you will either have drill and carve them out or get a set of turned aluminum and brass barrels from Master Modeler for about $20.00 as I did. The propeller is not correct for any D or G Stuka and Quickboost part no.32063 VS-111 propeller blades are a drop in fit. I finished my model as tank-killer ace Hans Ulrich-Rudels' plane and the decals went on easily except for the spiralschnauze. The spiral needs to be gently coaxed around the spinner and a very sharp x-acto knife for some small wrinkles and a mild decal setting solution like Microset. The fixed landing gear fits well and can be fitted after the main painting and decaling is done. I don't recommend it for beginners because of the wing assembly but with help from an experienced modeler it's not an insurmountable issue.
The best version of this type of model!!,
