Fun and Obscure Kit
Overall a very solid kit. Very few parts so it was relatively quick to assemble. PROS-- Decent cockpit, although I dry brushed the instrument panel. GREAT decals, immediately after putting them on they basically looked like Tamiya decals after a bunch of micro sol. Rear landing gear is well-detailed, so are the door bays(?) for the front gear, but I built it gears up. Very cool painting options, love how the camo pattern goes on the bottom of the plane a bit. CONS--Propeller blades come individually, so difficult to align properly. Relatively few panel lines so I had to add rivets (which I cant stand doing). Also the wings contain very rudimentary machine guns on them which I believe only existed on the Macchi C.205 (someone may correct me if I'm wrong.) The canopy is relatively small so it hides a lot of the cool cockpit detail. Not a knock on the kit, but I would not have spent as much time on the cockpit had I known.
Never Built an Italian
Having built WWII plastic model planes since my teens, never gave a thought to building an Italian fighter. But glad I did after seeing this kit. I always stuck to the more familiar legends of WWII planes. There are some very tiny parts to this kit so have your tweezers ready. The fit is great though and I had no trouble building this kit. I enjoy seeing it in my WWII air force.
Eye Candy
This is a very detailed kit of one of the best looking warbirds of WWII. Care must be taken in assembly. With careful study, and pre-fitting the pieces, over the model should come together nicely. When finished, it will make a very welcome addition to your model collection.
Love the plane
Loved adding it to my Italian fleet. It looks good, will post pics soon, but it was fragile so I had to b careful. But I got it done right and love the desert panther color scheme on my shelf. Buy it now cause it's cheaper than when I did by bout fifteen to twenty bucks
Sweet little kit.

A spectacular little kit. Good fits and a good looking plane. A quick build.
