Grab this kit if you are cravin' a Raven
The fir of this kit is typical Hasegawa. Parts went together well, with only minor fit issues around the nose area. The option for lowered flaps/slats is great. It was something that really sold me on this kit. The cockpit detail is so-so and could use an aftermarket set, but out of the box, under a closed canopy it is fine. Speaking of canopy, there is no option to open it, so you will have to carefully cut the kit one, or get an aftermarket option, if you choose to open her up. This kit was the only one I could find of this subject in 1/72 at the time, so I added a set of aftermarket decals to finish mine off. I also broke the nose pitot tube, so be careful there. I replaced mine with a pin. If you are unfamiliar with the F-111/EF-111- then be warned, this isn't a tiny kit. Wings extended, its almost as large as some small/medium sized 1/48 airplanes.
