Beautiful car, but ....
By: Tex Jester
This is a truly beautiful car. The kit is a good representation of the car with a massive amount of minute - TINY - details, almost to a fault! This should be attempted by experienced modelers; if you aren't that experienced, TAKE YOUR TIME.
I had some issues with fitment. The steering shaft couldn't make contact with the tie rod linkage. The instruction sheet shows mounting points for the front bumper - there were none. When assembling the rear differential, the half with the RR logo is easy to get upside down - make sure the suspension parts fit right before gluing the two halves together.
If you decide to make the hood removable, be sure to remove the tabs on the sides where they meet the cabin.
Some of the parts - door handles, window cranks, etc - are SO small, care MUST be taken as to not damage them.
I was inspired by the other gentleman with the black and red paint scheme - thank you, sir!

I have been working on this kit for some time and just finished it. The instructions are clear and accurate. Details are excellent and well defined. Flash was moderate and required more then a sanding. I had a sink mark on the floor board which I filled and sanded. You need to take care when assembling the body and frame which all comes in pieces and has to be assembled, so KEEP it squared used Legos to that. Take care with all of the small pieces which if you take your time you will be just fine. I would only recommend this kit to builders which have a few kits under their belts. I painted it Dark Blue exterior with a Leather Brown interior. Challenging but rewarding kit.
