Reviews : JTT Patterned Plastic Diamond Metal Plate

Described as HO scale I was about to pass until I read another review stating it was perfect for 1/25, 1/24 models, which are the scales I build in. Since 1:1 diamond plate comes in so many configurations I decided to take the reviewer at his word and sure enough, the material is perfect for the scales I build in. Both Tamiya liquid cement and Testor's tube glue seem to work fine on it. Material is thin but tough, which was my second concern. It gets my seal of approval.

I know it says HO scale but these sheets - and there are TWO large sheets, are perfect for 1/25 scale. I build semis and scratch build trucks/bodies and equipment. This product is perfect for 1/25 scale. It is thin enough to bend, hold a curve with the proper heating/cooling and easy to cut and paint.

I use this for all kinds of things. Custom interior and chassis work, used it on the car carrier, create custom dashboards and more. GREAT PRODUCT! Paint it chrome, silver, black or any color to match your build.

This plastic sheet form Diamond plate is absolutely fantastic for the bed of a truck and so many other details and painted with a good metalizer you'll swear it's photo etch.

Don't let the two star rating fool you, it is a nice sheet of diamond plate, just not 1/87 scale. It appears that it would be better described as 1/35 scale.

BEWARE!!! Package says HO, but way too large for even O-scale. Returned it for a refund. Get the Archer AR88043 instead.

It shows it gray but the print is white. Pretty disappointed. Didnt see white written anywhere
