Love the Switch-Dislike Physical Connection Method
Purchased 3 for an initial DC track layout. They are actually great to throw and add a degree of realism to OPS! Had these connected together to first a 22-014 Pack and then a new 22-018 pack. In both cases they either disconnected totally (falling off pack) or a slight intermittent connection that tends to cause either not throwing at all or worse, partially throwing switch. Don't know, outside cost, the wisdom of using connectors designed for electrical applications as also the means to physically attach to the pack. Couldn't wait to replace with standard MO DPDT toggle switches.
This has been 1 of the few Kato items that not very fond of but overall the Kato track has been outstanding. Maybe just had some bad luck so giving an average rating??

I like the plug and play idea. This switch attaches to the side of the Kato Power Pack (#kat22-014), then you plug your wiring from the turnout into this switch. As simple as that. Note: This does not come with any wires. It is just the switch. You would be well advise to purchase the turnout extension cord 35 (#Kat 24841) with this. However, you do not need to.
