A kit for the experienced builder
I'm no expert but!
This kit can build into a beautiful model of the Voo Doo!
First the plastic is very soft, it scratches and cuts easily. Be careful with any hand tool that gets close to these parts, It's easy to dig in and have a spot to fix latter. Files and sandpaper cut easily and deep!
This plastic does not respond well to Tamiya Extra thin, I used Model Master the stuff in the triangular bottle.
Be careful with your glue. A lot of the part joints are at actual panel lines. Any excess glue that squeezes out with cause you to have clean up the seam and you will destroy surface detail. Test fit dry a lot.
Some of the fits are great and some are not. Test fit and be very careful with you tools. Its easy to cut to deep and create a bigger problem. Because Kitty Hawk wanted to get more that one variant out of the molds the nose has more parts that it really needed, be careful with you fits here.
The decals are very fragile. Try to put them down in the proper location the first time, They will break up if you try to push them around! Wet them until they are almost floating off the backing paper!
My kit is coming along and will be a great and final addition to my Century Series display.
