A wonderful addition to any railroad set-up. Goes together real easy, no glue, no mess, just snaps together and fits well. Will look even better painted, as I plan to do. The box says Includes 12 Hereford Cattle but mine came with 6 of the cattle and 6 pigs which I guess is a bonus. I will paint the livestock to make them even more realistic. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. You won't be disappointed with this.

I have this stock pen located in my HO layout to represent the many that were used over the century for loading livestock onto railroads for transport. The snap type assembly is easy for any one to put together and is fairly realistic if you add a light coat of paint to the whole thing. I would recommend this kit to anyone wanting an extra bit of history on their HO scale RR.

This is an excellent kit for the beginner. It is easy to snap together (I used glue) and will look just fine with no painting. I gave mine a dirty black weathered paint wash and painted some of the details. It will be used on my grand-kid's Christmas Layout so I wanted something durable and quick to build. It comes with cattle which you can either paint or leave as is.

No glue required, kit snaps together. Good fit in all joints. Molded in brown, painting not necessary but will enhance this already accurate product. Elevated entrance ramps to two holding pens, swinging functional gate positions determine which pen. Simply a great kit. Used mine in a rural town setting to load cattle on a freight line.

This stock pen looks authentic in any scene. Although plastic, it has the look of wood and can be used on any era model railroad. I used it to construct a small scene for the town of Rye on my Weri & Daphiant RR

This is a good inexpensive stock pen for your layout. It is easy to assemble and has pretty good detail molded in. Some painting and weathering would really set this kit apart.

Bought to add to my beef ranch section of my layout. Went together easily. Gates all swing open/closed. Looks very realistic for loading cattle into my livestock cars.

I think this is the right stock yard pen for my ho scale layout
