The Timeless T-55 (And still a threat today)
I was excited to put this kit together. It was not the usual for me being that it was Lindberg, but I liked the option of making it Israeli. It is a well molded kit and all the parts fit as designed. The funny thing was the turret had no tabs to keep it on so I fabricated a cross bar that created the tabs and glued it to the bottom of the turret. Problem solved. The only other oddity was that the barrel is stationary. Oh well not all kits are Tamiya. I liked all the accessories that can be added and I did just that. I added everything. It is a nice looking model and makes a nice addition to my tanks. Funny that the T-55 is still a threat around the world. Thats the Ruskies for you. You cant tear their hardware up. Good kit for all skill levels.
Well worth the price – not for rivet counters
First off, this is not a kit that builds an exact replica for a museum. This is a fun kit that you can build without issues. No fitment issues and nothing broken or missing. The rubber band tracks are the biggest problem. I am almost certain they are inaccurate, and my set were very badly warped. Use a hairdryer carefully to get them to relax or just place them on the built up suspension and they will form to fit over time. This is what makes this kit of value. It will up your problem-solving ability. Bummer, there are no figures with the kit. Anyway, this kit is easy to build, and the cost takes the pressure of a modeler about mistakes. Finally, you can expand your scratching ability - adding hoses, battle damage, extra gear, etc.
A cheaper price kit that does not feel cheap when done.
I built the Lindberg kit 1/35 scale T-55 as the Israeli TI-55 Tiron as the kit contains parts for both tanks. Kit went together well, but pay attention to the directions when choosing which pieces you need for which version. Once finished and weathered the kit looks great. Only real issue is lack of hull detail, fix that with parts from the spares box and it looks good.
Vintage Kit with vintage kit problems
The tracks it comes with were borderline unusable. Would look at the Tamiya if you want an more accurate version. If you you want to customize or make a blown up tank, this might be worth it. Low detail, but easy to build. What you expect from this old of a kit.
Everyone should try
The versions offered, & the price, make this a good diorama kit. Went together well for me with no issues. There is room to add optional equipment. I believe you really have to try at least one kit. You’ll want to build another
USSR T55 Tank (Re-Issue)
For the price and how old the kit is, I can't fault it too much, but it does have issues. I found parts that were broken or didn't fit right and needed a lot of work. Overall, it is a fine kit for a quick, cheap build.
received in good order and seems fine

received in the mail and all seem good, love Ording from Hobby Linc they have a good selection and fair prices this is not my first order and will not be my last
Happy with this kit!
This is my first Lindberg tank model and I am finding it to be fun. A little less detailed as a Tamiya but is a little more challenging to assembly. Good kit!
Fun Tank
Really enjoyed this build and a great price. Only issue I encountered was the alignment for the exhaust but other than that the tank turned out great!
USSR T55 Tank (Re-Issue) -- Plastic Model Military Vehicle Kit -- 1/35 Scale--#415 (lnd415)
Famous WWII Soviet main battle tank. It was largely produced. The kit has a good1/35 scale to build and the price is excellent.
Fun kit
It was fun kit and worth the $15. Some instructions were a bit vague but nothing out of the ordinary.
