Definitely not a beginners plastic kit. The parts are well molded, although the kit I got had a few warps in the deck sides. They straightened OK after some careful bending and flexing. Towers are time consuming, but are quite solid when done and will support some weight. I placed a 3# weight on each to check for buckling. The deck spans are another story. I have built a couple of these deck spans before. The stringers or girders are quite fragile. Be careful when cutting them form the trees. I was careful and still broke several arms. No problem that liquid glue can't repair. Be careful to keep them square when drying. I used rubber bands and a square, worked OK. Really read and re-read the instructions carefully as you build. Should make a nice bridge. I plan to airbrush it flat black with some hints of rust streaking down the structure. But I'm looking for photos of the proto types. Will post another photo when completed.

looks very flimsy when first opened,hard to imagine it supporting a train until you finish building half of it,then it all makes sense. good kit,a bit time consuming, but worth it in the end.

Very fun build finish product is awesome very realistic. Takes some time lots of parts but good build. Decide on paint and location easy to make into a curved bridge.

I used this same kit in n- scale and it was awesome, h.o scale offers even more detail, great kit
