This has been one of my favorite models to put together. Very challenging due to some very small detailed parts. Even though this is a 1:144 scale model, the original boat was only about the size of a school bus so parts are still very small. Some of the photo etched parts are very difficult to work with and require additional cutting to be accurate. The micro mirror stands are not very good quality in my opinion and they should be replaced with a cradle style stand similar to HobbyBoss. Nonetheless, this is a great product from a great company, very reasonably priced. Mikr Mir has provided a lot of detail which is exceptional. I look forward to putting together another one of these kits. with a little time and effort it can be a very rewarding process with a lot to be learned about an amazing piece of submarine history.
