Reviews : Moebius Chevy Fleetmaster Sedan Delivery 1-25

I never heard of the Galaxy kits, but the box art for the Moebius release caught my eye as did the fact you don't see many panel delivery truck kits. In short, this is one great kit! The molds from Galaxy are top notch, with no flashing and positive mounting points for the parts to take away the guess work. I really like the chrome parts in this kit for the fender guards, door handles, hood decorations and plastic whitewall inserts. This helps to make the kit distinctive and realistic. The bumpers, which are also in chrome finish, fit nicely to the mounting points on the chassis without a fuss and align perfectly. Initially, I was apprehensive about how the separate front fenders would align with the body. However, it fit beautifully with no glue required; it literally snaped in place. Just make sure to follow the directions to snip off the small tabs that are on the inside of the body, next to the front tires, in order to get the body to fit to the chassis. The only other thing to watch out for is that the instructions, which are nicely detailed, are a bit hard to follow for the chassis assembly since it shows it upside down. This only means you have to be a bit careful to think things though as to where to locate the various parts. I plan to build the two other kits in the Galaxy line. This is kit is a must have for any modeling enthusiast.

I built the original issue from Galaxy LTD back around 2008 or & I'm really thankful for Moebius bringing this beauty back. This is a beautifly molded,highly detailed kit for moderate to experienced builders, only thing I'm not crazy about is the separate front fenders... Having said that this builds up into a very cool Speed Shop Sedan Delivery.. I wish this still had the original Speed Shop decals, but that's what they make dry transfers for lol.... You won't regret building this one....
