A Soild Kit of a Weird Vehicle
By: redapplesonly
This BvS Batmobile is one strange-looking vehicle - sort of a armor-plated lunar buggy. That said, this kit is well-made and great fun. The painting instructions are pretty lame (everything seems to be labeled black with silver highlights), so you'll want to do a little research on this car before you paint anything. I recommend the Batmobile Featurette on the BvS DVD. The box says this kit is Skill Level 3, but I thought it was pretty easy to paint and assemble. There is one part of the assembly towards the end which is a little frustrating - you'll know it when you see it, the pieces are labeled Left and Right Spider - but otherwise, I think this is a fairly easy kit to slap together.
This Batmobile looks great on my shelf

The exterior and cockpit of this Batmobile are well detailed. When built straight from the box, the model has a large empty space in front of the dashboard, making it awkward to display with the canopy off. I glued my canopy in place. The struts that mount the rear wings to the body are very fiddly, but with patience and fast setting CA glue, it can make quite a striking feature on the finished model. The finished Batmobile looks great on my display shelf.
Lots of fun
This was such a great kit. I bought a second one. The wings on the back was the most difficult thing. Struggled with that a bit. Hopefully the second one will be easier now that I have a better idea of what I need to do. The next on I will build with a bit of out of the box my flavor to it. This is what I think is the best batcar so far.
