Throttlepack 9950
MRC hit a home run with the THROTTLEPACK 9950. Never have I seen such slow speed control in DC mode. And there is a ton of power. Watts/volts = current potential. So 125 watts gets you 10 amps at 12 volts. The voltage and current display is very helpful. If you engage “momentum†it smoothes further the operation.
In addition it chains seamlessly with my MRC Prodigy Advance (squared) DCC controller. Taken together, these two units will run any loco anywhere on my layout and definitely the best money I’ve ever spent for command and control.
