Small size helps them fit into tight spaces
Occasionally some of these colored 'accent' lights really come in handy. They are available in just red or green, or in a 3 color multi-pack. I've used a red LED ones as navigational lights on ship models. Their small size helps them fit into tight spaces and they include resistors to take out the guess work when wiring. Really nice product.
