Use these for Code 100 and 83 flex track tie replacement
These are the ties you want to use to replace sections where ties were cut out for soldering track. These will fit under the installed rail. They are about 1/8 in longer than an atlas or Peco tie molded to track. I am using them as is because it looks fine. I am pre-painting them flat earth brown before inserting under rails and adding ballast
The full size ties are perfect for hand laying track, loads, or track-side but will not fit under rail
