Reviews : Pegasus WWII Russian Infantry Combo (40)

I was pleasantly surprised when i opened these bad boys up. I originally bought these for wargamming, and they will make a great addition to my collection. The details on them were really good, and they come in a large number of poses(some are very unique). Also i found the plastic very sturdy and none of the weapons were bent or damaged in any way. That being said, a few of the poses wont look good on my tabletop, but would look amazing on something like a diorama or display. Also most of the figures and there respective guns/arms come separate, so be prepared for some assembly. Most of them went together easy with some rubber cement, but a few took me a bit to figure out which body they belonged to. All in all, a great product :)

Pegasus has release a whole series of great figures, especially on the german side. Each of the figures usually looks very crisp and the details really stand out. This kit is well made, and the details are strong. One benefit of this kit is half of the units are in summer outfits, and other half are in winter outfits. Most of the poses are repeats of one another in slightly different dress. I would have preferred a little more variability, and I expected a little more of that given Pegasus models. All the summer soldiers have the same caps and fatigues and the same for winter respectively. Still a good set, but not as much diversity as I had hoped.

This is a rare collection where summer uniform and winter uniform soldiers are put into one box. The numbers of figures and the overall qualities are satisfactory with only minor problems. I would buy other Pegasus products in the future.

These are 50% 50% figures from the summer and winter Pegasus kits. Great detail...and not a single arm to glue together! They are complete aside from a few bases.
